but just recently had the good fortune to learn more about it within a group setting with Heather LaFond. Some spirits specifically related to audience members and often when there was a connection, Heather would relay some message from the deceased loved one. These stories were quite powerful – I was completely unprepared for how emotional I would get. I also appreciate the perspective Heather, as a spiritual medium brings. In our culture, death is so often viewed as negative/dark/morbid. Heather’s view is that the death of a loved one is similar to when a baby is born. Everyone circles around in support of the newcomer. She says the same thing happens when a person dies, they are immediately welcomed by others including ancestors whom they may have never even known. We are never alone.
